About us

The seeds of Sow & Share Community Garden were planted in 2020 when members of our church, several of whom already had their own home gardens, began a small garden plot to cultivate fresh produce to benefit others. We believe that a healthy diet involves plenty of fruits and vegetables and is integral to one’s wellbeing. Fresh air, sunlight, and satisfying work are also key components. We have several acres of land and were moved to share the benefits of gardening with our community. As a result, Sow & Share was born, and over the course of 2020 and early 2021, we plowed the soil, installed new piping, and connected with the Vermont Community Garden Network to prepare for our spring opening.
